Clamshell Packaging for Every Purpose
The type of products that you can package with clamshell packaging is nearly unlimited. As long as your product is not too large to make clamshells impractical, you can make a clamshell package for your product. You can make your clamshell package as a rectangle into which you set a thermoformed tray to display your product or you can design and thermoform your outer clamshell to fit snugly over your product. One great advantage of clamshell packaging is that you can see the actual product through the clear plastic covering. Many customers appreciate being able to clearly view products before purchasing them. Photographs of products on the face of boxes are poor substitutes for viewing the actual items themselves.
